Sunderland's F.A. Cup winning side of 1973 was the
last with no internationals in the line-up.
In winning, Sunderland became the first Division Two side to win the Cup since West Bromwich Albion in 1931.
Their Captain Bobby Kerr, is also the shortest captain to receive the F.A. Cup.
The match is also notable as the only one played with an orange ball.
