Paul Bracewell picked up the first of his 4 runners up medals in 1985 as a member of the Everton team.
Over the next 6 seasons he was on the losing side 3 more times, and all the them to Liverpool
(1986 and 1989 with Everton, 1992 with Sunderland).
Mark Hughes on the other hand picked up the first of his 4 winners medals in 1985, playing for Manchester United.
He went on to win two more with Manchester United (1990 and 1994) and his fourth with Chelsea in 1997.
He did however pick up a runners up medal along the way, when Manchester United lost to Everton in 1995
