This was Tranmere Rovers 3rd appearance in a Football League Trophy final,
They beat Bristol Rovers in 1990,
Lost to Birmingham City in 1991, both of which I was able to attend.
Unfortunately due to the Covid Pandemic, there were no fans save a couple of hundred, so I missed out!
