In addition, clubs who exit the Champions League the end of the First Group Stages join the Europa League.
The Intertoto Cup was also discontinued and those who formally qualified, now join the Europa League.

The Winners of the Europa League qualify for the Super Cup Final, against the Champions League Winners.
